A name to remember

Let me start by stating that I am by no means a cowboy, and I'm not here to convince you otherwise. Rather, the origin of our name comes from my grand uncle, Jerry. Jerry was a ranch hand from Cincinnati who had a profound impact on me. He was honest and honorable and a father figure to me when I was younger.

When Jerry passed in January 2014 from leukemia, I later received some of his heirlooms, including his lasso, which I keep with me in my service vehicle today. Reflecting on his memory and the impact he had on those around him, I see a man of honor: a true American cowboy. I know if I can be half the man Jerry was, then I'll turn out just fine.
